Beautiful uplifting retreats in Southern Spain
Las Chimeneas, Mairena in las Alpujarra, is a dramatic set of converted village houses which have been welcoming guests to the Alpujarra since 1998. There are nine lovely rooms, each with fabulous views across the hills to the sea in the far distance.
Mariena is a quiet, rural community, kept ambient with the breeze from the Sierra Nevada. The pace is on the slower side, the food and wine is locally sourced, and the marvellous Emma and David who host us every year make this such a special week.

A week of Hatha Yoga to deepen your practice, or if you are a beginner, to introduce you to the practice of asana that can develop strength, flexibility and focus.
Yoga to start the day, where all levels and abilities are accommodated.
We shall warm up the body slowly and find strength and stability in our practice, this will be followed by one of the many glorious walks in and around the mountains of the Alpujarra.
There will be one rest day where other activities will be available.
Emma and David who run Las Chimeneas are both so knowledgable and enthusiastic over their adopted homeland that their guided walks always reveal history, geology, the natural world and more!

Vinyasa Yoga in the mountains at Las Chimeneas
Saturday 31st May – Saturday 7th June .
Two sessions of yoga per day are offered. To develop and deepen your practice.
We will start the day with some vinyasa flow finding the cadence of breath to develop steadiness and strength. Options are always offered so the practice is open for all.
The afternoon practice will take a slower pace including some Yin and and some Restorative Yoga.
There will be one rest day where other activities will be available.
